Every session includes a private online gallery, high-resolution digital downloads, and access to professional prints, albums, and custom framing through our sister business, The Corner Custom Framing.
- Our natural light studio is located in Denver’s Historic Highlands neighborhood, and we frequently photograph on-location throughout the metro area—including some of our favorites like Cheesman Park, City Park, Sloan’s Lake, Cherry Creek North, LOHI, RiNo, Union Station and more.
- All sessions include a private online photo gallery, high-resolution digital downloads, and access to professional-quality prints, albums, and custom framing through our sister brand, The Corner Custom Framing.

Signature & Mini Sessions → with Kaylee
All Signature Sessions (families, seniors, children, couples) and our limited-edition themed Mini Sessions are photographed by Kaylee, our Lead Photographer and Studio Manager. Kaylee brings years of experience, incredible attention to detail, and a warm, easygoing presence that makes every session feel fun and relaxed.
She’s especially great with kids, families, and high school seniors—and she knows exactly how to bring out natural expressions and real connection.
Custom Sessions → with David
All Custom Sessions are booked and photographed by David Schmidt, the founder of Bloom Portraits and Our Hip Happy Studios. Custom sessions include newborn photography, extended family portraits, and custom location-based or creative sessions that require more planning and time.
David brings over 25 years of experience and a creative, intuitive approach to every custom session. Whether he’s photographing your brand-new baby, capturing your entire extended family, or designing a shoot around your favorite mountain location, you’ll be in incredibly thoughtful and capable hands.
Limited Edition Sessions → Our version of Mini Sessions
Limited Edition Sessions at Bloom Portraits are special pop up events that we offer only a few times a year. They are designed around holidays, seasons, or fun themes like Valentine’s Day.
These sessions are short, simple, and easy for families which makes them perfect for parents who want beautiful photos without the time commitment of a full session. Limited Edition sessions are about fifteen to twenty minutes and include a curated gallery of images that are ready for download. Each date offers a very limited number of spots and the location or setup changes every time which makes these sessions truly one of a kind.
Families love these because they are playful, affordable, and created with the same care and quality as our full portrait sessions. They sell out quickly and are a great way to capture your family throughout the year with a mix of seasonal looks and creative backdrops.
